PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability of a route guide apparatus, by setting a travel route for each visiting place in sequence of expected arrival time based upon each visiting place and the expected arrival time for each place to re-set the traveling route according to instruction to change schedule after setting. SOLUTION: A traveling route and a visiting place can be not only displayed on a road map of a display device 4 based upon visiting place data stored in an IC card 8a, but also estimated repeatedly corresponding to current traveling condition of a vehicle during travel of the vehicle to display each of the estimated result compared with the expected arrival time and expected stay period according to direction by a driver. The driver can very easily grasp arrival-delay to next visiting place and time to spare visiting by just displaying expected visiting list, which is compared with the hour and time and expressed, during the travel of the vehicle. Also, when the expected arrival time cannot be set according to schedule, ease of use can be improved since a visiting place, expected arrival time, and expected stay period can be properly changed at need to re-set the traveling route. |
