PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a subject even when the subject is moved in the up-and-down direction and to surely focusing the moving subject. SOLUTION: The position of a subject image after a specified time elapses is predicted based on the result obtained by detecting the subject image plural times by a 1st photoelectric conversion element train in a 1st subject image position prediction part 11. The position of the subject image after a specified time elapses is predicted based on the result obtained by detecting the subject image plural times by a 2nd photoelectric conversion element train arranged in the different direction from the 1st photoelectric conversion element train in a 2nd subject image position prediction part 12. Then, a lens is driven by a lens driving part 14 by selectively using outputs from the prediction parts 11 and 12 by a selection part 13. |
