<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily define the arrangement limitation of a unit constituting a control board, etc., and to define the rule regarding the arrangement limitation of the unit as to a device to be registered by using an object icon corresponding to the arrangement limitation. SOLUTION: On a display, a definition field 18 corresponding to the constitution of a rack where the unit is housed displayed. A list of object icons 20 and 22 representing items regarding the arrangement limitation of the unit is displayed. The object icons 20 and 22 are arranged at proper positions in the definition field 18 to define the arrangement limitation rule for the unit. The defined contents are saved in an information data base 16.</p> |
