PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately decide a focusing point by turning the respective negative value integrated values of a restored image data group in an AF area to respective AF evaluation values, turning the minimum value of the respective AF evaluation values to the focusing point and turning the one of the maximum point image radius to the focusing point in the case that the plural minimum values are present. SOLUTION: A high frequency component integrator 47 outputs a high frequency component integrated value to a CPU 6 and a negative value integration part 48 outputs the negative value integrated value to the CPU 6. In the CPU 6, the AF evaluation value is calculated based on the inputted high frequency component integrated value and/or negative value integrated value and the minimum value for instance is retrieved. Then, a corresponding focus lens position (target position) is specified with a restoration filter number corresponding to the retrieved minimum value as a focusing point index. The minimum value from the calculated negative value integrated value group is searched, and in the case that there is one minimum value, it is turned to the focusing point. On the other hand, in the case that they are present for plural, the one of the largest point image radius (filter number) is turned to the focusing point. |
