PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide magnification and reduction method and circuit for digital images, in other words, capability for arbitrarily adjusting and changing, image quality within certain ranges on the digital images after interpolation. SOLUTION: This circuit is provided with selectors S11, S12, S21 and S22 for generating the data of interpolated pixels interpolated by multiplying a coefficient to the data of respective pixels for constituting source images, an arithmetic part 10 constituted of multipliers M11, M12, M21 and M22 or the like, a table list TL storing tables to which the different coefficients are set, corresponding to relative distances between the respective pixels for constituting the source images and the interpolated pixels and a control terminal CT for arbitrarily selecting the table stored by the table list TL and supplying it to the arithmetic part. |
