A wooden panel (10) for cladding a wall is supported on an angle section (11). The panel is secured to a bracket (12) by a screw (16). The vertical arm (14a) of the bracket (12) abuts against the vertical flange of the angle section (11). The horizontal arm (14b) of the bracket is secured by a bolt (19) to a clip (13). This clip has a turned-over edge which grips the edge of the horizontal flange of the angle section. The clip has groove to receive the nut (21) which is engaged by the fixing bolt (19).
