FIELD: transport engineering; air intake for ventilation of vehicle compartment or cooling of vehicle-carried equipment. SUBSTANCE: air intake for vehicle has air duct, rotary flap with support joint and flap drive. Flap is made in form of wedge with two faces. Outer face serves for overlapping inlet hole of air intake when flap is retracted. Inner face, with flap opened, forms inlet section of air duct wall arranged as side of support joint.
