<p>The door seal is made from inner metal braiding and outer textile layers and is held in place round the door surround by a series of metal clips (6). Each clip has a V-shaped body with symmetrical arms (6a, 6b) to engage with a hole in the oven door surround and two ends with cutouts (6c) and horizontal pointed tips (6d). The tips face towards one another and are designed to pass through the outer textile layer, penetrate the inner metal braid layer and engage with it, being held in place by retaining edges (6e).</p> |
