Process for anodising aluminium bodies. Conventional anodising is first performed, and this can subsequently be coloured using an organic dye or electrolytically in order finally to dry out and seal the entire body either cold or hot, and is characterised in that a second anodisation of the body is then performed in such a way that the parts in which the first anodisation is desired to be retained are covered with a tape which is not destroyed by the chemical and electrolytic processes of anodisation, then proceeding to a second anodisation of the other parts first subjecting these to a chemical process in caustic medium to remove the first anodisate. Applicable to the aluminium industry.
