PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-functional telephone device capable of informing a caller of propriety of service presentation, without answering to an incoming call by using caller information to be transmitted from the side of a line, setting various functions and providing various kinds of service by each piece of caller information. SOLUTION: Contents of the service which can be provided by a voice message from a voice control part 70 are noticed to the caller by the use of a caller service attribute table for specifying the caller information from a private branch exchange (P'BX) line 21 and a public line 22 and a service class of the caller and a telephone set service table to set functions of multifunctional telephone sets 81, 82, 83 by the multifunctional telephone system 1. In addition, settings of the caller service attribute table and the telephone set service table are changed by using a service class setting part 60 by a permitted caller and the service which is more convenient for the caller is provided.
