PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts of a developing cartridge which is frequently constituted as a consumable article by bringing a shaft into contact with an electrode member in the case of attaching a developing cartridge to a device main body. SOLUTION: The inside hanging part 134a of a receiving body electrode member 134 is provided with an inclined part 134b inclined in the attaching/ detaching direction (direction shown by an arrow (a)) of the developing cartridge 70 and a parallel part 134c nearly parallel with the attaching/detaching direction of the cartridge 70. Therefore, in the case of attaching the cartridge 70 to the member 134, one end of the shaft 73 of the developing roller 71 gradually abuts on the inclined part 134b of the member 134, so that the shaft 73 is gradually energized in its thrust direction. When one end of the shaft 73 reaches the parallel part 134c, the shaft 73 is perfectly energized in the thrust direction. One end of the shaft 73 is formed to be semispherical, consequently, one end of the shaft 73 and the member 134 are brought into contact in a point contact state. |
