PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protecting construction method whereby not only a slope can be protected but also luminaires are attached to slope protecting members to indirectly illuminate the tops of the slope protecting members or nearby portions by use of the luminaires to enhance the night view of the slope on which the members are installed and to allow plants on the slope to grow. SOLUTION: Slope protecting members 100, which are placed on a slope 200 partly including flat portions, such as a face of slope or retaining wall on natural ground or developed land or along a road, or a tunnel pit, to protect the slope 200, are each fitted with a luminaire 20 which illuminates the slope protecting member 100 or a nearby portion. The slope protecting members 100 having the luminaires 20 are arranged in a predetermined form to protect the slope 200 using the slope protecting members 100 and at the same time to enhance the view of the slope 200 during the night through the operation of the luminaires 20 and to allow plants to grow thereon. |
