<p>In the new device for feeding sheet-metal strips (S.1...S.3) made of ferromagnetic material to the second cutter-shaft pair (11) of a roller-cutter angle shear, the deposition element for the sheet-metal strips (S) cut by the first cutter-shaft pair (3) comprises flat surface elements (7, 7'; 107, 107', 107'') with a smooth surface which lie in the plane (2) of transport and are or are in each case separated from one another by a parallel gap (8) running in the feed direction. The revolving driver element for the transfer of the sheet-metal strips is designed as at least one endless belt (10; 110, 210), the upper strand (9) of which is arranged between the or between two surface elements (7, ...; 107, ...) at a distance (a) of 0.1 to 0.9 mm below the deposition and transfer plane (2; 102) formed by the surface elements (7, ...; 107, ...).
