<p>PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive door locking device preventing a latch or a synchronizing member and a driving lever from being engaged and caught even if door handle opening operation is performed immediately after the driving of the driving lever is started. CONSTITUTION: The pressing arm 8a of a closing lever 8 is disposed opposedly in the pressing direction to the engaging lever 3d of a latch 3 in the whole moving range from the free position (a) of the engaging lever 3d to the full latch position (c). Lock release operation is therefore performed immediately after the driving of the closing lever 8 is started. Accordingly, even if the engaging lever 3d of the latch 3 is returned into the free position (a), the engaging lever 3d is moved toward the full latch position (c) by the closing lever 8, so that both are not engaged with each other.</p> |
