An exhaust emission particulate remover which is connected to a combustion emission gas exhausting path to remove particulate contained in the emission gas, comprising filter units (13 and 14), a fuel injection nozzle (31), and an ignitor (32), wherein the filter units (13 and 14) are formed with porous ceramic partitions (21 and 22) which form a plurality of narrow passages (23 and 24) extending in the flow direction of the emission gas, the emission gas is introduced from one end of each of the passages (23 and 24) and exhausted from the other end of it so as to trap particulate contained in the emission gas by the ceramic partitions (21 and 22), and the fuel injection nozzle (31) injects fuel toward the emission gas introduction side of the fuel filter units (13 and 14).
