The post (8) comprises a ground spike (3) which slides in the axial direction inside the post bearing against it so as to give it a stiffening effect. It supports two spacers (6,7) spaced apart in the axial direction, passing centrally through them. The bottom end of the post can bear against the ground. The lower spacer is clear of this end and the top one is accommodated in the top half of the post. The spike can extend into the post for at least half its length. The post can be used as a marker for a pipe laid in the ground. |
