PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for amplifying a plurality of different DNA fragments which can be used, for example, to estimate the state of microorganism(s) or an organic waste by applying, at the same time, a polymerase chain reaction to a plurality of different, DNAs using a specific primer. SOLUTION: This method comprises applying, at the same time, the polymerase chain reaction to a plurality of different, DNAs using a primer selected from many base sequences including base sequences shown by formulas I-III, wherein the polymerase chain reaction is repeated in the order: (1) thermal denaturation. (2) annealing of a primer, and (3) elongation by polymerase, wherein primers and the condition for the polymerase chain reaction, which is applied when a plurality of different DNA fragments are amplified, are set so that a number of bands will become only a few which correspond to each DNA which appears in the electrophoresis of DNA fragments which are amplified by the application of the polymerase chain reaction, to amplify DNA fragments of a plurality of different DNAs. |
