<p>PURPOSE:To make the timing of clean join recording accurate by rewinding a magnetic tape before recording in LP mode at the time of executing clean join recording in LP mode, reproducing the tape in SP mode for an absolute time and then putting a virtual counter in operation. CONSTITUTION:While the absolute time T0 of the start of the clean join recording is stored, review operation is entered and it is decided that the audio tape recorder is in the LP mode. Then a review time t1 is set and after the review operation in the SP mode, a sound recording pause state is entered. Pause state is released, then SP mode reproducing state is entered and absolute time T1 is read. The time T1 is obtained by measuring an absolute time TB obtained by subtracting a time TA when a cylinder, etc., is switched from the SP mode to the LP mode from a time T0 and T1=TB. Then capstan FG counting operation is performed and the rotation of the cylinder and a tape speed are switched to the LP mode in the time TA; and tracking is performed and the point t1 of time when recording is started according to FG count is calculated, and the recording is started.</p> |
