PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the stable waveform equalizing characteristic of a variable equalizer filter in a reproducing signal processing circuit of an optical disk device. SOLUTION: The device is capable of reproducing the information recorded on an optical disk at a constant linear velocity. The device is provided with a first setting means 59, in which the characteristic of an equalizer circuit follows a reproducing speed so that a reproducing is made possible before the rotational speed of a spindle motor reaches a normal rotational speed after a seek, a second setting means 101, which sets a beforehand optimized equalizer characteristic when the rotational speed of the motor becomes the normal rotational speed, and a means 102 which successively selects the means 59 and 101 in accordance with the rotational speed of the motor and outputs. |
