PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rotate a rotor to ideal position in a stepping motor driven by one/two-phase alternate excitation method. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a normal excitation controller 3, which generates a control signal for repeating one-phase excitation state and two-phase excitation state alternately, and a special excitation controller 4 which generates a control signal for setting temporary two-phase excitation state at one-phase excitation. Here, temporary two-phase excitation state is set at one-phase excitation so as to compensate for the inequality of the rotating torque between one-phase excitation and two-phase excitation. |
