PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the reliability of an equipment inside a device by preventing temperature from increasing inside an image forming device where toner is welded to a recording paper by a thermal fixing device. SOLUTION: The supporters 11a to 11d of a housing 10 are provided on a metallic housing bottom plate 13, and lateral supporters 12a to 12d are provided between them. A metallic housing side plate 14 is attached by being supported by the supporters 11a, and 11d, the lateral supporter 12a and the bottom plate 13. The supporters 11a and 11d, and the lateral supporter 12a which are close to a heat source are composed of a heat pipe corresponding to the arrangement condition of a unit inside a machine. The heat pipe is utilized as the supporting material of the image forming device, and the heat from the heat source is transmitted to this heat pipe, so that a fan for cooling the heat source and an air flow path need not be provided; therefore, the housing can be designed small, and also the degree of the freedom of unit arrangement inside the machine is increased. |
