PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress beat noise, while keeping transmission quality by specifying a slave station pair causing the beat noise to suppress the beat noise produced due to the fluctuations in an optical wavelength of a light source of the slave station, through only the simple optical wavelength control for the light source by the slave station. SOLUTION: The wavelength of a signal is modulated by a frequency fm, from which a sole difference Δf=fm-fm' from other slave station is obtained in each of slave stations 2a, 2b, 2c, a master station 1 detects a δfm component in a generated beat noise for specifying a slave station causing the beat noise and controls the wavelength of the slave station causing the beat noise to reduce the beat noise, while keeping the quality of signal transmission. |
