METHOD OF FABRICATING FLAT FLUORESCENT LAMP AND FLAT FLUORESCENT LAMP FABRICATED BY THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method of fabricating a flat fluorescent lamp is provided which fabricates a discharging path of the fluorescent lamp through molding to simplify fabrication process and minimize manufacturing cost and realizes the flat fluorescent lamp whose performance is improved and stabilized. CONSTITUTION: In a method of fabricating a flat fluorescent lamp, there are first prepared a floor plate and front glass plate which are heated to have softness capable of being molded. The floor plate is moved to a vacuum mold having multiple parallel discharging path patterns to be vacuum-molded to form a discharging path(7). The front glass plate is moved on the floor plate having the molded discharging path to be pressed to be united with the floor plate. The discharging path is vacuumed and charged with a rare gas and its wall is coated with a fluorescent material(6). A discharge electrode is set at one side of the discharging path and an opposite electrode is set at the other side thereof.
