The pressurized air generator has an air compression device (6) coupled to an air dryer (9), through which the compressed air is fed with part of the pressurized air fed through a by-pass line (28a) for by-passing the air dryer. Respective pressurized air supply lines (10,11) for different loads are supplied with the pressurized air, which bypasses the dryer and dried air provided at the output.
