MASTER INFORMATION MAGNETIC RECORDER

摘要

A master information magnetic recorder for recording a predetermined master information signal on a magnetic recording medium by making use of a ferromagnetic thin film pattern formed on a master information support. The master information support is kept in close contact with the magnetic recording medium, and the ferromagnetic thin film pattern is magnetized by magnetic field applying means, thereby recording a preformat signal corresponding to the pattern on the magnetic recording medium. The magnetic field applying means is so structured that the direction of magnetization of the ferromagnetic thin film is normal to the track of the tracking scanning made by the recording/reproducing magnetic head on the magnetic recording medium provided in a magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus. The reproduction output of the master information signal from the recording/reproducing magnetic head has a great magnitude enough to perform tracking scanning.
