Arrangement for controlling temperature in recording device

The arrangement has a detection circuit with a detection resistance in series with a heating resistance for measurement of the heating current flowing in the heating resistance. The measurement resistance outputs an analogue signal representing the temperature. A temperature control circuit has a switching device which switches the current and a hold circuit which holds a status signal that indicates whether the heating resistance is to be heated. The switching device is switched by the hold circuit depending on the status signal; the status signal held in the hold circuit is cleared depending on the analogue signal.
