The extruder has two sections in a cascade arrangement, each section having a sleeve containing an extruder screw driven by a motor/reduction gear unit, an inlet for the initial material, and an outlet for the transformed material. The extruder (100) has two sections (110, 130) in a cascade arrangement, each section having a sleeve (111, 131) containing an extruder screw (112, 132) driven by a motor/reduction gear unit (113, 133), an inlet (114, 134) for the initial material, and an outlet (115, 135) for the transformed material. The two extruder sections are linked by a connector (150) with a filter (155) and a buffer chamber (151) with an extrusion grid (156) at its outlet end to receive the material transformed by the first section and transfer it to the section one. The second section has a de-gassing aperture (136) in its sleeve in advance of its inlet (134) and connected to a low-pressure source such as a vacuum pump.
