<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily control freshness such as of meat and enables one to taste food in a state of good freshness by indicating at a door body the degree of freshness and the tasteable period of the meat or the like accommodated in a refrigerator. SOLUTION: The degree of freshness and a tasteable period are judged by means of a sensor unit 22 for radiating light with a wavelength in a near- infrared region against meat or the like in a refrigerator and also for detecting the transmitted light or reflected light of the measuring light incident from the fresh food, and a microcomputer 32 on the basis of an optical intensity at the wavelength for the measurement detected by the sensor unit 22. The results are indicated on a display unit 40 provided at the door body, and the temperature and humidity in the refrigerator are controlled by an operation control unit 38.</p> |
