A viral, vaccine administered nasally contains in addition to the dead viral substance a carrier solution of following composition: 1L of the solution contains: 7-10g alkali- or alkali-earth-metal chlorides, 0.8-1.2g aqueous soluble saccharide, sufficient buffer to set the solution pH to 6.3-7.2, 0.5-1.5 mg surfactant and a natural or synthetic polymer to produce 30-50 mPa solution viscosity. Optionally, a preservative is also added as an aqueous solution of powder premix. |
