PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method excellent in toner replenishment, waste toner detection, and waste toner handling, and capable of outputting a high definition image. SOLUTION: This image forming method has at least a developing process for forming a toner image, a transfer process for transferring by a transfer member 302, a fixing process for fixing by using a fixing device 313 heating and/or pressing, and a process for removing toner remaining on the surface of an electrostatic charge image holding body after the transfer process and a process for carrying the waste toner to a waste toner container by a screw 312b. In this case, the toner contains at least binding resin, a magnetic material and charge control agent, the angle of repose (Φ) of the toner before developing is 20 deg. to 65 deg. in the condition of 23 deg.C and 60% RH, and the angle of repose (#Y) of the waste toner after cleaning is 30 deg. to 70 deg. in the condition of 23 deg.C and 60% RH. |
