PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a self-station itself in a sleep state or to set it in the sleep state through a command from a control station by allowing the control station to transmit a communication station state signal to a communication station and to set the communication station in a sleep state. SOLUTION: A sleep mode setting part 21 provided in a wireless node sets a sleep mode, for instance, when the node is not used for a prescribed time or longer. Also, in the case of the sleep mode, a signal is received in a timing of a start command signal in the leading control area of each frame. When control information is transmitted, control information outputted from a transmission control managing part 14 is sent to an encoding/decoding part 12. When the time of the leading control area of a frame arrives, the output of the part 12 is sent to a high frequency transmission processing part 3 and is modulated by a prescribed modulation system. Thus, a communication station state signal, the start command signal and a communication station state change signal are sent to the leading control area of each frame, and a sleep operation is controlled by utilizing them. |
