PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing plate making method by which an insoluble component is not precipitated in developer or does not adhere to a tank, the need of frequent cleaning is eliminated and a printed matter is not soiled even in the case of using material insoluble in the developer for the photosensitive layer of a printing plate in order to improve printing durability and sensitivity. SOLUTION: This printing plate making method is provided with a stage for removing the photosensitive layer equivalent to a non-image part with the developer from the original plate of a photosensitive planographic printing plate having the photosensitive layer after image-exposure. In such a case, the original plate of the photosensitive planographic printing plate incorporates microgel and/or latex insoluble in the developer as the component in the photosensitive layer, and processed while removing microgel and/or latex free in the developer in the stage for removing the photosensitive layer equivalent to the non-image part with the developer. |
