PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to surely recognize the time of receiving call termination data in a communication equipment which is provided with an automatic answering function. SOLUTION: When a caller information reception part 6 receives caller information arriving from a telephone line 1, a main control part 12 starts the timing of prescribed time in a clock part 8, and stores the caller information received by the caller information reception part 6 in a storage part 9. Then, when message reproduction is instructed by the operation of an operation part 10 by the user, the main control part 12 reads the caller information from the storage part 9, displays it at a display part 11 and also displays elapsed time in the clock part 8 timed corresponding to the caller information at the display part 11, together with the caller information.
