PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit and an air conditioner for keeping a temperature in a machine room at a proper level at all times and assuring a smooth operation of a gas engine and the like contained in the machine house. SOLUTION: An outdoor unit 20 comprises a heat exchanging room 23 provided with an outdoor heat exchanger and the like, and a machine room 24 provided with a refrigerant circuit or a gas engine and the like comprising a compressor 33 and the like. In each of these rooms, in the heat exchaning room 23 is provided an outdoor unit fan 91 for assisting actions of the outdoor heat exchanger, and in the machine room 24 is provided a ventilation fan 97 for ventilating the air therein with the air in the heat exchanging room 23, respectively. In the heat exchaning room 23 and the machine room 24 are respectively provided a fan controller 2 and a temperature sensor 3. The temperature sensor 3 measures the temperature in the machine room 24 to transmit this data to the fan controller 2. The fan controller 2 controls actions of the ventilation fan 97 based on the temperature data. |
