PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method and device for a balance display of an electronic money card which can read the balance of the electronic money card and inform the user of it. SOLUTION: The balance display device of the electronic money card consists of a device main body 11, a card insertion part 14 which is provided in the device main body 11 and into which the electronic money card is inserted, a balance display means 12 which displays the balance of the electronic money card through various media, a vibration sensing means 17 which detects vibration applied to the device main body 11, and a control means 19 which detects the balance of the electronic money card once the vibration sensing means 17 senses the vibration and operates the balance display means according to the detected balance; when the electronic money card is set in the device main body 11 and vibration is applied to the device main body 11, the vibration sensing means 17 detects the vibration, the balance display device of the electronic money card is actuated in response to its detection signal, and the balance display means operates in the mode corresponding to the balance of the electronic money card to display the balance. |
