摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal processing method for a prefabricated connector portion of a crosslinked polyethylene insulation power cable, whereby its required working and inspecting times can be shortened. SOLUTION: A terminal processing method of a power cable includes a process of step-wise stripping the terminal of a crosslinked polyethylene insulation power cable to expose to a semiconductive layer 10 and insulator 5, a process for convering the position of the step wherein the insulator 5 is exposed from the semiconductive layer 10 with an electric field buffering heat shrinkable tube 21, whose outside and inside are respectively made of a semiconductive polyethylene and an insulating polyethylene which have a melting point lower than that of the semiconductive polyethylene, and the process for convering the region ranging from the electric field buffering heat shrinkable tube 21 to the exposed cable semiconductive layer 10 with a smoothness-processing heat shrinkable tube 22 which has a smooth inner surface. Then, the intermediate in the state of pressing it from the outer periphery of the smoothness-processing heat shrinkable tube 22, the inside insulating and outside semiconductive tubes of the electric-field buffering heat shrinkable tube 21 are stuck meltingly on the respective cable insulator 5 and cable semiconductive layer 10, to transcribe the inner surface of the smoothness-processing heat shrinkable tube 22 onto the cable insulator 5.</p>
