PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the image compositing device which can composite an image without occupying a lot of memory. SOLUTION: To constitute a selected image, the arrangement positions of respective images are specified according to an indication inputted by operating a keyboard or mouse (step S102) and two mutually adjacent images are all extracted from the respective images according to the specified arrangement positions of the respective images; and the position relation where overlapped parts are matched are calculated by every two extracted images (step S103) and the respective images are put together according to the calculated position relation between the images to generate a composite image (step S104).
