PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a painting-out process from being performed repeatedly when the painting-out process is actually carried out to specified line width at specified painting-out intervals at the time of a solid-black painting-out process. SOLUTION: The printer constituted by connecting by an internal bus 7 a CPU 1, firmware (ROM) 2, a work memory (RAM) 3, a print part 4, an operation and display part 5, and a host I/F 6 has a function for checking whether or not a painted-out line is processed twice when an area is painted out in solid black according to the specified line width and specified painting-out intervals, a function for re-setting the line width and painting-out intervals so as to evade the repeated painting-out process in such a case, and a function for performing painting out the specified area to the re-set line width at the re-set painting-out intervals. |
