The cycle chain adjuster has a wide plate (1) having a lateral hole (2) and a stop (3) complementary with the interstice of the clip. A rod (4) has a thick half-disc (5) threaded on it through a widened hole (6). The half-disc rectilinear (7) and convex (8) sections have edges (9) and a cavity (10) on which is fitted a disc (11) passed through by the rod via a hole (12). Everything is fixed by stops (14) on the disc concave face (13).
