The invention relates to a process for the production of spherical, polyeste r particles, wherein the particle size can be exactly adjusted in the range of 1 to 200 .mu.m and a particle size distribution with a span (=d90-d10/d50)1.5, as well as the use of the produced particles for toner compositions in electrophotographic and direct printing systems and powder coatings.
