<p>The joint filler comprises alpha gypsum, methylcellulose, starch ethers, polyvinyl alcohol, cellulose fibres, ground limestone and mica, and also a vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer and/or a vinyl acetate-vinyl versatate copolymer and also flocculants, accelerators and retarders. The mineral mixture of alpha hemihydrate, ground limestone and mica is milled to a particular particle size distribution. Together with the synthetic polymer component this gives a joint filler which, as a result of its behaviour, has very good processability, non-sag properties and excellent joint strength.</p> |
