The invention relates to a plastic component (10). The inner lining of said component is at least partially provided with a metallic layer consisting of aluminium or an aluminium alloy and is characterised in that the surface is chemically or electrochemically treated in order to produce an oxide layer. The inventive plastic component has a considerably wider area of application. The known advantages of Al2O3 layers, such as resistance to corrosion and abrasion can be exploited in applications such as sealing sliding surfaces in the area of hydraulics. |
