<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a oxidation treatment agent and to provide an oxidation treatment method for the oxidation treatment of sulfide contained in discharge water of a kraft pulp manufacturing factory, a chemical conversion product manufacturing factory, a fish bone treatment plant, a garbage disposal plant or the like or exhaust gas and crude oil or natural gas from a sewage disposal treatment plant or the like, especially, hydrogen sulfide, methyl mercaptan, methyl sulfide and methyl disulfide. SOLUTION: By using an oxidation amorphous nickel such as a nickel alloy or the like or a carrier the surface of which is coated with the amorphous alloy and a sulfide oxidizing treatment method using the oxidation treatment agent, sulfide causing malodor can be removed and the corrosion of a concrete structure based on hydrogen sulfide or environmental pollution by sulfur oxide caused by sulfide in fuel can be prevented.</p> |
