METHOD OF PLACING FLOATING BODIES AT PRESET DEPTH

FIELD: placing floating bodies at preset depth; naval engineering. SUBSTANCE: method consists in separating floating body from anchor, continuous winding of rope from floating body by means of winding device; winding procedure is started and completed by command from hydrostatic device carried on floating body. At moment of discontinuing the rope unwinding procedure, dynamic forces arising in rope are damped through sliding of rope over grooves of roller device till equilibrium of forces acting on rope is obtained. EFFECT: low cost of method; simplified construction; improved operating conditions. 1 dwg
