BENZOXADIAZOCINYL ARTHROPODICIDES

Compounds of formula (I), and their N-oxydes and agriculturally suitable salts, are disclosed which are useful as arthropodicides, wherein A is CR<7>R<8>; E is O, S, CR<16>R<17> or NR<17>; G is a fused 5- or 6-membered ring which may be aromatic or non-aromatic, optionally containing one or two heteroatoms selected from the group nitrogen, oxygen and sulfur; and R<1>-R<8>, R<16> and R<17> are as defined in the disclosure. Also disclosed are compositions containing the compounds of formula (I) and a method for controlling arthropods which involves contacting the arthropods or their environment with an effective amount of a compound of formula (I).
