PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information receiving apparatus which displays a list of broadcast programs when CM starts up and returns to a previous viewing channel when CM ends.SOLUTION: The information receiving apparatus includes: a CM monitor means for monitoring beginning or completion of CM on a viewing channel; a list creation means for creating a channel list for other than a viewing channel when the CM monitor means detects the beginning of CM; and a control means for controlling whether the channel list created by the list creation means is displayed. When the CM monitor means detects the beginning of CM, the control means allows a display means to display the channel list. |
