Positioning actuator

The unit includes a shaft driven by a motor which actuates a signal generator (22) depending on its position either directly or indirectly. The shaft (18) has a first opening (34) and a section is enclosed by a sleeve (32) with a second opening (42) in the vicinity of the signal generator. An actuator (48,50,52) for the signal generator which extends into the second opening can be operated by a first element (36). The first element can be displaced radially into the first aperture or by a second element mounted in the first aperture which can be displaced into the second aperture.
