A communicating pipe covering device of a hot air path of a furnace is provided to increase the effectiveness of the keeping warm by surrounding the external diameter of a communicating pipe with a crossover cover. A communicating pipe covering device(100) of a hot air path of a furnace the crossover cover comprises: a pair of guide rail(110,140) having a plurality of guide rollers(111,141); a pair of covers(20,150) having driving chains(121,151) at outside, installed to be rotate while supporting the guide roller; and drive units(130,160) installed at one side of the communicating pipe to go in gear with the driving chain. The drive unit has: a sprocket(131,161) going in gear with the driving chain; drive motors(133,163) including driving sprocket wheels(132,162) in an axis of rotation; and chains(134,164) connecting with the driving sprocket wheel.
