<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely control to keep the value of a control factor constant in accordance with the progress of an aerobic reaction such as a change in the inflow load of sewage with a simple mechanism while preventing the setting of activated sludge on the bottom of a treating tank by attaining a necessary and sufficient agitating flow speed. SOLUTION: Oxygen or air is supplied to a liq. mixture in an aeration tank, and at least one factor among the dissolved oxygen (DO) content, oxidation- reduction potential (ORP) and hydrogen exponent (pH) is controlled in a specified range to control the operation of the aerator for treating the sewage. In this case, the opening degree of the vent valve of the aerator is adjusted a the aerobic reaction of the sewage proceeds, hence the supplying amount of air is controlled, and the sewage is treated.</p> |
