PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a horizontal width to the utmost while suppressing the strength of a crank shaft to a small level. SOLUTION: An outboard motor is provided with an engine 6 formed by arranging a crank shaft 7 vertically, a high pressure pump 47 for supplying fuel to a cylinder of the engine 6, a high pressure pump driving device 65 for driving a high pressure pump 47, a high pressure pump pulley 61 hung to the pulley 66 of the high pressure pump driving device 65 by a belt, a flywheel 62, an alternator 76 arranged downward the flywheel 62, and an alternator driving pulley 63 hung to the pulley 77 of the alternator 76. The high pressure pump pulley 66, the flywheel 62, and the alternator driving pulley 63 are installed in order on the upper end part of the crank shaft 7. |
